	When Darkness Becomes Flesh is a short horror movie, about ten minutes in length. It tells the story of a girl trapped in her own house during a power blackout. But the girl soon realizes that she is not alone in the house... I produced this movie together with Michael Schaller for our diploma. I wrote the script, directed the movie and was responsible for the art and costume design. I also did some of the special effects (using After Effects) and did, together with my brother, the sound design. The production of this movie was an interesting experience since we wanted to have a really dark look. To achieve this look we shot all of the scenes during night or in dark rooms, so that the darkness didn't look fake. That way I learned a lot concerning the use of light and shadow. At the moment we are working on a directors cut, which we will send to some festivals. The music we use in the movie was made by Simon Heath.
